Since I have written ways to do intermittent fasting and its benefits on previous articles. Here are some tips to maintain your intermittent fasting (long term)in order to reap its benefits.

Stay Hydrated- Drink lots of water and calorie-free drinks, such as herbal teas throughout the day.

Avoid obsessing over food- Plan plenty of distractions to avoid thinking about food.

Rest and relax- Avoid strenuous activities on fasting days, although light exercises such as yoga may be beneficial.

Make every calorie count- If the plan you are using allows some calories during the fasting period, choose nutrient-dense foods that are rich in protein, fiber, and healthy fats eg beans, eggs, fish, nuts, and avocados.

Eat high-volume foods-Select filling yet low-calorie foods, including raw vegetables, water content fruits, such as melon

Increase the taste without the calories- Season meals with natural herbs and spices. They are low in calories and full of flavor, which may reduce the feeling of hunger.

Choose nutrient-dense foods after the fasting period- Eating foods that are high in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients helps to keep blood sugar levels steady and prevent nutrient deficiencies.

A balanced diet will also contribute to weight loss and overall health.

Note; There are many ways to do intermittent fasting, and there is no single plan that will work for everyone. It is best to try various results if they try out various styles to see what suits their lifestyle and preferences.
